Hi, I’m Rachael, founder of Créée Interior Design, a Gold Coast-based interior design studio dedicated to creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

Créée (pronounced kree-ay) means “I have created” in French. It reflects both my design philosophy and a personal connection; my French ancestors were among the earliest European settlers on the Gold Coast. That lineage inspires a sense of pride in the spaces I help bring to life: spaces that are considered, cohesive, and deeply rooted in purpose.

I help clients bring function, beauty and personality into their homes and workspaces, making the design journey collaborative, enjoyable, and tailored entirely to them.

As a qualified interior designer and mother of two, I understand the need for spaces that work, not just wow. I design with a focus on liveability and detail, tailoring every project, whether residential or commercial, to suit the people who use it. From relaxed coastal living rooms to thoughtfully styled commercial spaces or complete new build fit-outs, every project is handled with care and precision.

I’m often told that one of my strengths is how calmly I manage projects, especially when things don’t go to plan. Renovations and fit-outs can come with surprises, but I believe in navigating them with clarity, care and composure. (Have you ever been mid-demo in a Gold Coast bathroom renovation only to discover there’s no slab under the tiles? I have! …But I didn’t panic then either.)

Interior design is a journey: from first ideas to final reveal. My job is to guide clients through that process with clarity, warmth and expertise. Creating spaces that feel personal, purposeful and completely resolved.
